Wow Jessie ! I'm travelling to Paris in early October this year so I really appreciate this post and also looking forward to next week's post for the 'non-shopping' fun things offered in Paris. There was a lot of detail in this post and I appreciate your efforts. I hope your Family had a glorious time even though it was freezing. It's still cold here as well.
This was a great virtual shopping trip to Paris! I felt as if I was there.
When I was in Paris last year, I kept thinking about how we needed those subway gates in Boston. I do not understand why we don't have those safety measures in place.
I honestly realized I should have packed even lighter than I did. Next time I’ll bring almost nothing so I have more room for special things to bring home.
We love men’s striped sailor-esque shirts at Saint James, Dover Street Market in the Marais is an experience to walk through with fashion/art installations, APC for men’s outerwear, Galleries Lafayette top floor for gifts/kids items, Pylones for fun kids items like patterned umbrellas.
Galerie Bettina is our favorite whimsical art gallery in the 7th with fun sculptures and paintings. I bought a gorgeous Toad (I know 😂) for our bathroom counter that makes me smile everyday. His name is Marcel.
It's a 'chain' but the best spot to pick up kids gifts in Paris is Le Petit Souk! And my must-visit for women's fashion while in Paris is French Trotters.
Your shopping list speaks to my soul! Le bon marché is magical—even my thirteen year old daughter was entranced by the stationery/pen section. Our merci tote collection is reaching hoarding levels. So looking forward to checking out your other stops on our next trip 💗
Oh I bought a little card carrier from Le Bon Marche last October - I didn't realize what the pattern was until you pointed it out, so cute! If you're ever in Saint-Martin, I love Landline: https://www.instagram.com/landlinegeneralstoreparis
Le Grande Epicerie in the 7th is amazing!! They sell the most beautiful foods, and it's well worth just going in. Last time we bought little mustards, salts, candies, tea, etc. and cute little French Market bags!
It's actually a part of Bon Marché (which is also worth noting because your spend is included in both your Bon Marché loyalty card and - partially, the oysters and champagne do NOT count - your tax refund).

Thanks so much. I’m so glad you liked it!
A bag charm with the swatch? I miss Collette and I love dog collars and wallets from the Goyard flagship

J’essie Aime. Noted all of these great shops ❤️
Great list thank you! Saving this for next trip and reminding myself to pack light… 😬

Great tips!

Those black ballerinas are so good, Jessie! And I love Merci, too. I pay a visit every single time. The only bum is that their cafe is laptop free 🤣
That wrapping paper - so divine! And those baby clothes at Marché Bastille... taking all the notes.
Put bias tape around it and you've got a place mat or a mat to put under a fruit bowl.

French Trotters was on my list but I didn’t make it there this time. Will try next.
For the fabric swatch, what about a passport cover? I can't tell for sure if it's big enough.
May be beyond my technical abilities. But good idea!

I had to physically restrain myself from buying another Merci tote.
Papier Tigre has the greatest stationery, paper, pens, ceramics. My son and I both loved it and went twice in a week!
Adding to my Wanderlog. Thanks for the tip!

This looks right up my alley. Added to my wanderlog for next time!
I love wanderlog too!

Agreed, a must! Great pit stop for oysters and champagne mid-shopping - right across from le Bon Marche.

Headed there in June and loving all the info!
