Evan Healey Rose-Vetiver face moisturizer is amazing. Silky, easy melts into my skin, and smells wonderful, too.

I had the same issue with Botox, was told I developed an immunity to it. Tried Dysport and it’s so similar to Botox, that the results were similar. Xeomin has been working great for me, however! I say I have the frowning power of an ape, I I need a heavy dose. No shame! Teenagers do that to me. Definitely don’t go back to a rude doctor! I had the same reaction to Ursa Major! So sad! Also, can’t get over the smell of the Biossance Omega. And the jar is so big! My moisturizer of choice rn is L’amarue. Clean ingredients, no scent and my skin has never looked better. Love these recs! Can’t wait to try some of these!

My doctor's assistant told me they use the max dose for my 11s, and they typically underdose a little for most people (my doctor is too discrete to tell me that herself), so I feel ya on the Botox. I have to have it every three months.

I also get Sculptra. It makes your body produce more collagen on its own, so it helps fill volume that we lose as we age. The way my doctor explained it's not "too much" like filler can be (in the wrong hands) since it makes your body do what it used to do on its own. I love it! Unfortunately, it is expensive. It requires 3-4 rounds initially. 3 did it for me. Now I only have to have it every so often as maintenance.

For reference, I'm 53, so a bit ahead of you! :)

This is really good to know about. I am going to ask about this. I am always so wary of those expensive things you have to do like 3-5 times before they work because I am impatient. But I will ask about this!! Thank you!

I try to stay cruelty free so avoid laneige and nars, love the outset for skin, oribe for hair, tarte concealer and brush, and glossier for mascara and lip gloss.

Tretonin prescription occasionally.

If Botox doesn't work well, try Dysport! Also, try going to Peachy or Plump. You don't need to pay for a top derm to do Botox and certainly not if she's unkind. I also wanted to suggest Lightsaver SPF and (if you can get a friend to grab it from AUS or EU) Ultraviolette Queen Screen.

Hiiii old friend (and Wahoowa!)....love seeing you on here!

I had the same problem with Botox and switched to Dysport - much better results now. And, I love my injector so find one that is right for you :).

I also have an amazing aesthetician and am all about the skin. I use Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 morning and night. In the morning, also Skinceuticals C E Ferulic and SkinMedica TNS Advanced+ Serum. At night, some sort of retinoid - I'm rotating between 1) a strong Obagi retinol, 2) combo of Skinceuticals Retexturing Activator & Resveratrol B E, and 3) Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil. Sunscreen always, plus a hat when in the sun.

For make-up, I love Benefit BADgal BANG! Volumizing Mascara, Anastasia brow products and Patrick Ta Major Headlines Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush Duo for cheeks. Erborian CC Creme is my current "foundation" crush.

Enjoy! Look forward to seeing more of your loves (and hates) xoxoxo

My son reminded me that I will turn 46 this year which I was blocking out so the reminder hit hard. I too need recs for plastic surgeons for maybe a 50th bday refresh (or earlier at the rate I'm going) Just did two morpheus8 treatments and doing the third soon, hoping that those perform miracles. Also have to do dysport bc Botox doesn't work on me either. Love all the products by Saie. They are amazing! And my fave skincare right now is Young Goose but.. it's super expensive 🫠 what filter do you all use on your photos besides the selfie option?

Thank you for these great suggestions. Here's mine: Onekind Dream Cream at night. $40 for a 1.7 ounce tube that lasts a long time. It contains squalane and rosehip oil, smells nice and works well on my combination oily/dry face.

I am a NY transplant living outside of Seattle. The air here is so dry even though you’d think with all the rain it wouldn’t be. I wear a rich night cream morning and night… Mad Hippy Triple C Night Cream and it’s my now favorite. Great price and it’s a glass jar! Also lovely mild scent and I typically detest scent of any kind. I’ve tried Biossance as well, and liked it.
