The Timeshifter app for Jet lag is amazing! My friend suggested it to all her guests traveling to Italy for her wedding (from the west coast of the US, mostly) and it made SUCH a difference. Not ONE of us had jet lag and we could get the party started right away! Your first trip is free, but I’ll be paying for it for any trip with big time zone shifts moving forward!
Wow I haven’t heard of this. Definitely going to try it for my upcoming Paris trip as I am terrible with jet lag. My only work around is that sometimes going in a sauna or steam room helps.
I was just coming to suggest this - wow, it’s game changing. Make sure you download it a week before you travel as it’s key to plug your info in and follow its directions before travel.
I too love the Dina tote!!! It is currently sitting in my lap on the train. I love all of the compartments and I love that it has two water bottle holders because A: My water bottle won’t leak & B: I am someone who likes to drink multiple liquids at once!
The best travel hack I’ve used lately comes from Samantha Brown. Cut up a dish sponge in small (useable) squares, squirt a little dish soap on them(no water), put them in a baggie. Use them to wash your water bottles, travel mugs, etc. I’ve even used a piece for stains on clothes. Love your substack! ❤️
Stories like this almost always disappoint me, but not this one! Stuffed with good tips and tricks and gave me the shoppies real bad (said in a Jennifer Coolidge voice). Thank you Jessie!
I’m a flight attendant and when I’m sitting in my jump seat, I can see when a passenger is unbuckled while tax-ing and prepping to make a run down the aisle to be first🫣
Smh. Every human on the plane has a valid desire to get to “their people and next places” urgently but most accept and honor the filing out order. I have such gratitude for the privilege of watching most rest of the plane act calm and courteous.
I always put a swimming costume in my hand luggage too as it's good to be prepared just incase! I add some sandals in too if I'm not travelling in them.

Yay! This makes me so happy to hear you love it.
Does it have a laptop sleeve?
It does!

What a great list!
Omg when people try to cut when deplaning! Me too! Makes me irrationally angry every time.
It’s the worst and it happens every single time.

The Dina tote is my ultimate travel hack. I am obsessed with it! I don't know how I went without it for so long!?

💙💙
Your newsletter is my favorite! What a great list! Added so many to cart. And love how you always include one thing you hate.
Thank you so much for the kind words!

Made me want to travel with you! Loved all the hints
Soup group trip 2025!
Your recs are the BEST. On my way to Asia right now and so wishing I’d bought disposable cameras in bulk for my fam.
Also the passport labels! The cheap and sturdy suitcases! Bless you for unearthing the truly life-changing stuff that hardly anyone thinks of.
So glad you liked these reccos!!!
Oooh love the disposable camera idea! Stealing.
My long time fave hack is to bring old undies and bras and dispose on the trip!
Smart
OMG me too!
